REA Approaches Completion of Danbury Project

Danbury Mayor, Dean Esposito, showcased REA’s first commercial-scale project to several members of Veolia North America’s management team. Veolia, which operates the John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant in Danbury, CT, was onsite to tour the FOG-T0-Biodiesel facility in anticipation of its commissioning in January.

Brown grease, in general, is a pain point for wastewater treatment operators that REA can effectively alleviate with its FOG Management platform, which also optimizes resource recovery by incorporating its FOG-To-Biofuel system. By converting waste FOG to biodiesel, REA helps operators create a new revenue stream from waste that otherwise creates a meaningful cost for them.
